How are student placements determined?

Placements are determined by HSCSED 801 member district IEP teams using a data-driven decision-making process. Wings Academy is considered when a student requires intensive, individualized supports that cannot be effectively provided in their current setting.

Will my child still have an IEP?

Yes. All students at Wings Academy have an active IEP, and services, goals, and supports continue to be guided by the IEP team in collaboration with the program.
